About Me

Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) based in PA, and I’m currently accepting new virtual clients.

I earned my Master's in Mental Health Counseling and Addiction Studies Certificate in 2015 and have worked in substance use disorder and mental health treatment since 2014. I have a passion for working with individuals from dysfunctional or addicted family systems, as well as those navigating codependency. I believe that understanding the dynamics of relationships is crucial for healing and growth. My goal is to provide a safe space where you can explore these patterns and develop healthier connections.

Modalities

My approach to therapy is collaborative and tailored to your unique needs. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help identify and change unhelpful thought patterns, Motivational Interviewing (MI) to support personal growth and strengthen motivation for change, and psychoeducation to increase understanding of mental health, addiction, recovery, and relationship dynamics. I also strive to help clients develop healthier boundaries, improve communication skills, and build greater self-awareness. Together, we will explore patterns that may be keeping you stuck while developing tools to assist in creating lasting change.

Benefits of Telehealth

Telehealth can offer a convenient way to access therapy from the comfort of your own home. Since you don't need to travel back and forth, it's often easier to fit sessions into a busy schedule. Meeting in a familiar space, as long as it is quiet and confidential, may help you feel more relaxed and comfortable during a session.
